Frozen Hope

This rose was one that budded at the very very end of summer. It got cold and our rose bush hadn't been taken care of in forever. Later it warmed up, and in hopes of getting those buds to bloom, I trimmed the rose bush.

I had hoped and waited everyday (always going out to see if they opened more) they were getting really close...but bam temperatures dropped and it eventually snowed. These babies are most likely dead. So my hope is frozen, until next year.

But Wait this is part of a series I will call Frozen Hope.
So I'm hoping that I will be able to accomplish a surprise!
